Psychotherapy

Concerns, issues, and problems in living are experienced by everyone. It takes considerable energy to live in a constricted and ultimately unfulfilling manner or way of being-in-the-world. Our spirit feels dampened and we have difficulty “taking in the good” about ourselves and our lives. Individual psychotherapy is an opportunity to explore your concerns within the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that everyone has within an inherent motivation and desire to heal. I work from an integrative perspective that considers both the impact of various events in our lives and also our resilience, strengths, and potentials. My view of psychotherapy is that it is one vehicle that can facilitate one’s journey “towards growth, self-regulation, and wisdom.”
